Fluctus delivers flxible, customer adapted systems for connecting land power to all kinds of feed barges.
We have experience with 1kV and 22kV solutions.The most common solution has been to connect the land power cable through a designated tube.
This solution tend to be simple and robust. It does, however, complicate connecting/ disconnecting the barge for instance when moving it to another location for service/maintenance or changing the barge on site.

Consequently Fluctus has in cooperation with BKK Enotek and Firda Seafood developed a sturdy solution where the land power cable is connected to a removable electrical cabinet on deck. This makes connecting/ disconnecting faster, simpler and safer – without having to remove the cable in itself. This system also reduces the risk of damaging the shore power cable.
